What this site is

Outlier is an independent, non-commercial statistics project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the NCAA, any conference, or any college or university. It sells nothing and charges nothing for access.

Team names and marks

School and conference names are the property of their owners and appear only to identify the team a statistic belongs to.

Player photographs

Roster photographs belong to the athletics departments that produced them. Outlier does not copy or store them: each photo is loaded directly from the school's own image server, so removing or changing it there removes it here. The "Save card image" button draws the card on the visitor's own device; nothing is uploaded to Outlier.

Statistics

Box scores and season statistics are facts about public sporting events, drawn from public athletics websites. The Outlier Rating built from them is our own work.

Athletes

If you're a current or former player and would rather your photo didn't appear, email us and we'll remove it. No explanation needed. Your statistics stay up, as they would in any box score.
